What is the Incubation Period of the Common Cold?

Catching the common cold is quite simple actually and hard to resist. It starts off with a feeling of dryness in a person’s throat and then it leads to sneezing and coughing. Soon after that a person has the cold still wondering where he picked up the virus to being with. The more obvious and underlying question is that what is the incubation period of the common cold. Researchers have argued about this for a long time and yet not all of the answers have been found yet. Many experts have said that you contract the disease after a sudden “chill”. Only recently have there been advancements on the mysteries behind how we get and what is the incubation period of the common cold. The researchers cleverly used human guinea pigs as the subject of their experiments and make them experience having a chill.  What was then done is that a control group was used who was not subjected to a chill like the first group. The result was that the group who were subjected to child turned out to have more colds. From this what has been deduced is that a chill does in fact lead to a cold.
